Key Components of an Injection Molding Machine

It consists of two halves, the cavity, and the core, which are precision-machined to match each other. The molten plastic material is injected into the cavity, where it takes the shape of the desired product. 4. Ejector System:
Once the plastic has solidified inside the mold, the ejector system is responsible for removing the finished product from the mold cavity. It consists of ejector pins or sleeves, which extend into the mold and push the part out when the mold opens. The ejector system ensures that the finished product is released without any damage or deformation.
5. Hydraulic System:

The hydraulic system comprises a hydraulic pump, valves, actuators, and a reservoir of hydraulic fluid. It is responsible for controlling the movement of the clamping unit, the injection unit, and the ejector system. 6. Electrical and Control System:
The electrical and control system of an injection molding machine is responsible for monitoring and controlling various parameters and processes. It includes sensors to measure temperature, pressure, and position, as well as a control panel to set and adjust the machine parameters.
